Stampin' 10 Club!

I'll be starting a new Stampin' 10 Club in April. It's the perfect way to extend your Stampin' Up! stash, whilst earning at least £25 of free goodies. You'll also get free project kits and catalogues through the time the group runs.

For more information, click on the Stampin' 10 tab at the top of my blog, or click here.

Large Medallion Stamp

I loved this stamp the moment I saw it, but because it's retired, I found it really hard to track one down. Fortunately I spotted one for sale and jumped at the chance to buy it. Just created a quick card using it, and was definitely reminded of why I had to have it!

I also love the colour combination of Pink Pirouette and Pool Party, and these two ribbons together.

To make this card, I used:
Medallion stamp
Pool party ink, card stock and ribbon
Pink Pirouette card stock and ribbon
Very Vanilla card stock
Round Tab Punch
Bloomin' Marvellous stamp set (SAB)
Pearl Basic Jewels

In a fluttery mood...

I'm not sure whether it's the time of year, or my hope that spring will soon appear, but I'm really into butterflies at the moment.

Here's another quick card, used the Simply Scored tool to create the embossed lattice effect in the background.

I'm sure you'll agree, it's simple, yet very effective.

To make this card, I used:

Pool Party ink, card stock and ribbon (SAB)
Very Vanilla card stock
Beautiful Wings Embosslits
Pearl Basic Jewels
Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

This is rapidly going to become my favourite stamp...

Here's another quick card using the beautiful Swallowtail stamp.

Black and White Butterfly

I got lots of new goodies a while back, but the recent sun spurred me into a bit of a spring clean, so today is the first chance I've had to play around with my gorgeous new bits.

I've made a lovely monochrome card, using the new Swallowtail stamp, which I absolutely love.

It's really difficult to see in the picture, but I've double layered the right wing, and rather than using the basic black, I've created a smaller layer using basic grey ink.

To make this card, I used:

Basic black card stock
Whisper white card stock
Swallowtail Stamp
Basic black and grey ink
Wishes Your Way stamps
Pearl Basic Jewels
Word Window and Modern Label Punches

Long while no see...

So, I've been absolutely non-stop, and haven't had any spare time at all, which means both my cards, and blog have both been neglected.

My boyfriend is currently playing away on his x-box, so I figured it was a good time for me to take a moment and make a card.

With Valentine's Day approaching, I thought I'd make use of the gorgeous Hearts a Flutter bundle, and the More Amore DSP to create a card...

To make this card, I used:

Primrose Petals Core'dinations
Honeycomb Embossing Folder
My Little Valentine Stamps
Modern Label Punch
More Amore DSP
