Another Couple of Christmassy Designs...

So here's another using the Festival of Prints paper...

It's another quick and simple card with lots of layering in festive colours, which compliment the paper stack colours.

To make this card, you will need:

Festival of Prints
Framelits Dies
Contempo Christmas Stamps
Ornament Keepsakes Dies and Stamps
Cherry Cobbler Ink and Card

Flags and banners are also very fashionable at the moment, and I incorporated those into the next card...

To make this card, I used:

Festival of Prints

Cherry Cobbler Ink and Card
Season of Joy Stamp

Another Christmas Card...

I'm loving working with the Festival of Prints paper stack. There are soo many options with it. I had another play, and using my Framelits, I created a lovely look, really simply and using hardly any paper stock!

So, there it is...

I simply used my trimmer to create strips of each paper that were around 1.5cm, adhered them to plain cardstock, and then cut them using my Framelits dies. Then cut a smaller section, and stamped my Merry Christmas message.

For this I have used:
Framelits Dies
Festival of Prints
Cherry Cobbler Ink
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
White Whisper Cardstock
Contempo Christmas

A Different Advent Calendar...

I love chocolate, but I eat far too much of it, and with Christmas parties and weddings coming up, I need to fit into my dresses, so I thought I'd make advent calendars this year...

It's not quite finished yet. I'd like to add more decoration to it, and need to use some brads as handles for each drawer, but you get the idea...

Festival of Prints

I used the Festival of Prints paper to decorate, and painted empty match boxes with acrylic paints to colour them.

Now just to find some non-chocolatey, yet still tasty, goodies to fill it with...

It's coming!!

If you're anything like me, you're panicking... I've just realised that Christmas is less than 5 weeks away, and I've done no preparation. I've not bought a single present, planned our Christmas day, thought about decorations, or started making my cards. So much to do, so little time!!

So, I decided I need quick, but lovely cards.

Festival of Prints
So here it is...
This card took me all of about 10 minutes, yet is effective and funky enough for me to send to my friends this Christmas.

If you'd like to make a card this this, you'll need:
Whisper White cardstock
Contempo Christmas (for the Merry Christmas stamp)
Cherry Cobbler ink
Festival of Prints paper

To make it, I simply scored an A4 sheet of cardstock in half, rounded the corners, and stamped my message at the bottom. To create the tree, I used a full length (6.25") strip of paper (1.5cm wide), and then 8 other strips starting at 5" in length for the biggest, and the reducing by 0.5" for each strip of paper. I then used my paper piercing tool to curl the ends of each strip of paper. Finally, I glued each strip to the long length.
